Haven't played any of your previous work before(on my way to fix that) but this was very impressive as someone who's never really played the og Yume Nikki(also something I'm on my way to fix)! The pixel art is super charming and Jamie is a likable protagonist who gets a little in over his head. I feel like the side characters make the game world feel so much less lonely such that when they disappear their absence is really felt. I really hope you continue this story and add more unique forms for Jamie to use(also that Astranimh makes a return)!
This is probably your best work imo! I especially liked how the effects you collect have their own uses to solve puzzles.
Was a really lovely time playing this, with a delicious ending to top it off.
Its really good to have a great amount of characters showing up and even if the interactions are simple, it helps associate them to each place and helped me guide myself a bit more and it was really good to have some lovely cameos as well.
Got around to 8 forms but from previous games, i might have missed something extra as the 4 rocks with the gigant one in the middle seems really suspicious, any hints to know if im missing something and really curious if there is a big bad form like the original game.
Always great to play stuff with your work involved, cant wait for more in the future.
